Our studio’s design aesthetic leans towards mid-century modern and minimalist styles. When possible, we strive to make our work from sustainable Canadian wood. And we can proudly say that all our pieces are entirely made in Canada.
We are Sarah and Mike, a husband and wife team out of Burlington, Ontario. Sarah looks after all the behind the scenes operations. Chances are, if you’re emailing the studio, you’re chatting with Sarah. Mike is a craftsman who has been professionally designing and creating custom furniture for 20 years.
Stolar Studios is the third reincarnation of what we have always wanted to do with our woodworking business. Instead of generic furniture or mass produced home goods, Stolar Studios has evolved to provide fine furniture for generations to enjoy. Innovative, top-quality conversation pieces.
